Advisory Board

GirlForward’s Advisory Board is a community leadership council made up of members who identify as refugee and immigrant girls. There are a total of sixteen members with eight in each city - advisors serve for one year. Advisors influence and guide organization-wide decision-making on programs, fundraising, communications and advocacy. Advisors have opportunities to participate in leadership skill trainings, community building programming and discussions on addressing important issues impacting the GirlForward and larger refugee and immigrant community.
