Come join the first of our three-part series addressing race, justice, and mass incarceration in the USA.
On the eve of Juneteenth, we will be screening the thought-provoking, 13th documentary. We will have a short reflection period afterward and will offer some take-home resources and questions to process for our next community conversation in August.
In August, we will have a panel discussion with community leaders and activists that are paving the way for criminal justice reform and the reentry process. In September, we will conclude our 3-part series focusing on the school-to-prison pipeline and the criminalization of mental health. August and September dates and locations TBD.
Please RSVP for free admission. Ample free parking in the YMCA's lot or along the road along the Y.
