At every meet, we get 30 attendees on the mic to give a one-minute spiel on the creative, entrepreneurial or cause-related ventures. Whether you're an entrepreneur, a creative, a side hustler or an artist, this announcement space is a chance for you to engage with your community face-to-face. Announcements ASL-Interpreted by Monica Garcia
Monica Yvette Garcia has been working with, learned the language and culture of, and been influenced by the Deaf community in the greater Austin area since 2009. After attending the University of Texas, she received a BA in Anthropology and Communication and later became certified as Sign Language Interpreter with the State of Texas in 2015. She credits her ASL teachers, the Deaf community, and Interpreting mentors in bringing the knowledge of the language and respect of a respect for Deaf Culture into her life.

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, raised in Houston, Texas, Jeska’s main style provides a nostalgic 90’s old school feel. Influenced by different music genres thanks to growing in a multicultural environment, she takes people on a journey through time and provides the soundtrack for people to groove late into the night. You can also catch her at the Power to the People ft. DJ Jeska on April 5.

This month's topic question is "Where are you finding the good in your life right now?" Anonymous answers will be collected during the meet and later shared on our blog.

Nationally, April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. We've invited our friends at Stop Abuse For Everyone to speak on the importance of dismantling systems of abuse within our everyday lives and creating safer cultures and environments for women and girls. Stop by their table to get involved and learn more about what they do.

Kristen Saska Juen
Ceramicist, designer and maker, Kristen Saska Juen's line features a variety of home goods and decor.

Lys Art + Jewelry
Living and working in Austin, Texas, Lys Santamaria is a practicing artist who paints with beads. From portraiture to intricate design, her pieces are entirely hand-threaded.

Sass Mouth Apparel
Karli Isiyel founded SassMouth in 2012, and it began as an obsession with bold, vintage pieces of clothing. Stop in for a peek at this mobile boutique in a vintage trailer.

With over 20 years of professional experience, ChosenEyes has given spiritual guidance and healing to all those who come her way. She regularly provides tarot readings for the organizers at Hive Arts Collective.

Since we've been in operation, we've provided a platform of visibility, outreach and financial opportunity to 300+ Texas-based women artists, 400+ women-owned businesses and women activists. We were named "Best Bossy Babes" of 2015 by The Austin Chronicle, Tribeza's Top 10 to Watch in 2016 and we were selected by The White House to attend the United State of Women Summit in June 2016.
