Join us on Saturday, March 10th at 1 pm in recognition of International Women's Day with a day of presentations and lots of discussion!
All around the world oppressed genders are rising up and asserting their power. After the Trump election, women's marches around the country drew record numbers, and the #MeToo movement highlighted the struggle against sexual violence and abuse. Women have been the vanguards of struggle in the battle over health care; resistance to more racist, imperialist wars; and against sexism, homophobia, and transphobia.
Let's come together to learn the roots of gender-based oppression and how we can unite to advance our movements and smash the patriarchy!
We'll have speakers, workshops, and lots of discussion.
** Session 1: A Women's Place is in the Struggle
** Session 2: Trans Liberation and the Struggle for Socialism
