Special Film Screening: Black Bodies

Please join us on Thursday, November 1 at 6:30pm for a reception and screening of "Black Bodies", a film by Austin-based multimedia journalist Charlotte Moore. This screening is co-presented by the Carver Museum and City of Austin Equity Office.

"Black Bodies" is a Moore Media film production which takes candid, thoughtful, and courageous exploration into what it means to be Black in America and in the world. The film features sixteen Black individuals of different ages, backgrounds, religions, nationalities, and skin tones. District 1 Council Member Ora Houston is one of those featured.
