We Are All Texas: Day of Action for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ATX)

  • Texas State Capitol

Texas has been and will continue to be ground zero for anti-immigrant, xenophobic rhetoric that is evident in the 2017 legislative priorities of State leaders. We have seen the introduction of legislation that includes, among others: allowing local law enforcement officers to ask for immigration status through the elimination of so-called "sanctuary cities;” repeal of in-state tuition for undocumented students; special marking of driver's licenses and IDs for refugees and anyone with a visa.

Join RITA in a movement to stop the hate, xenophobia, and nativism from taking a hold in Texas.
