The Safe Spaces Project

The Safe Spaces Project is dedicated to creating safe spaces for girls in schools and communities. The program includes after-school support and monthly workshops at “GirlForward HQ” – our office and program center in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood – as well as an in-school empowerment program for refugee girls in grades 6-8, and an initiative to enlist local businesses and organizations to become official “safe spaces” for girls.
